王振原，现任西安交通大学医学院法医学系副主任，教授，博士生导师，法医病理学科带头人。1964年2月18日出生，1981.9~1986.7就读于原西安医科大学（现西安交通大学医学院）临床医学专业，1985年加入中国共产党，2003年获得医学博士学位，2005~2006年在美国印第安纳大学医学院做博士后研究，长期从事法医学专业的教学、科研与司法工作。主持国家自然科学基金 2项、省部级课题6项，发表论文80余篇，其中SCI收录22篇。主编、参编专著、教材13部，获国家、省和校级教材奖、教学与科研成果奖多项, 培养博士、硕士研究生近20名。主要学术兼职：国际证据科学协会理事；中国法医学会理事，法医病理学专业委员会副主任；中国高等法医教育研究会理事；公安部科技专家；最高人民法院司法技术鉴定委员会专家；陕西省医学会以及西安市医学会医疗事故鉴定委员会专家，陕西省公安厅特聘刑侦专家，西安市政法委咨询专家。主要研究领域为法医病理学和神经科学。
