On behalf of the hosts, organizers and sponsors, the Organizing Committee cordially invites you to Baltimore, Maryland, United States, during August 14th – 16th 2017 for the 6th International Conference on Evidence Law and Forensic Science. The 6th Convention of the ICELFS will be the first one held in the United States, after the first four conventions held in Beijing, China and the 5th Convention held in Adelaide, Australia: a move which further marks the success of the conferences to date in attracting an interdisciplinary and international delegation. ICELFS 2017 will examine The Relationship between Evidence Law and Forensic Science. The 5th International Conference on Evidence Law and Forensic Science (“ICELFS 2015”) has successfully held during 2015 July 22-23 in Adelaide Australia, which was jointly sponsored by PRC “111 Plan” of China Evidence Science Innovation and Talent Base and PRC “2011 Plan” of China Collaborative Innovation Center of Judicial Civilization (“CICJC”), while cohosted by China University of Political Science and Law (“CUPL”), International Association of Evidence Science (“IAES”) and University of Adelaide Law School, and organized by University of Adelaide Litigation Law Unit. The ICELF 2015 was attended by more than 220 delegates including evidence scholars and forensic scientists from 15 countries and regions of five continents including China, Australia, U.S., U.K., Swiss, Tanzania, South Africa, etc.
The 4th International Conference on Evidence Law and Forensic Science (“ICELFS 2013”) has been successfully held during 2013 July 20-21 in Beijing, which was co-hosted by P.R.C. “2011 Plan” – China Collaborative Innovation Center of Judicial Civilization (“CICJC”) and International Association of Evidence Science (“IAES”), while organized by Institute of Evidence Law and Forensic Science, CUPL, and supported by Key Laboratory of Forensic Toxicological Analysis of the Ministry of Public Security. The ICELFS 2013 was attended by more than 150 delegates from 11 countries and regions, including more than 130 delegates from Mainland China and Taiwan as well as more than 20 delegates from U.S., U.K., Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Hungary, Switzerland, Australia, South Korea, etc. Participants had comprehensive discussions under the theme of ICELFS 2013 – Evidence Science and Judicial Civilization.
On July 16 to 17, 2011, the third International Conference on Evidence Law and Forensic science which hosted by Institute of Evidence Law and Forensic Science of China University of Political Science and Law convened ceremoniously in Beijing. 141 evidence law scholars and forensic scientists, who come from 12 countries across five continents, China and Taiwan district, spread out thorough deliberate around the theme of the conference ”Evidence science and Justice Judicial- Present and Future”. In the Opening Ceremony, Professor Huang Jin, the president of China University of Political Science and Law, gave warm welcome speech first, and expressed enthusiastic congratulations on the successful holding of the third International Conference on Evidence Law and Forensic Science.
